They were considered to be friends of Persephone, then when she was abducted, her mother cursed them. There song is quit beautiful, but sad calling for Persephone's return. Few people have lived threw there song. Orpheus drowned out there song with his lyre. Once the whole crew plugged there ears with wax on Odysseus' order then passed through.

Pegasus is depicted as a flying horse that was usually white colored. His father was Poseidon and his mother was Medusa. He had one brother named Chrysaor. He was captured and tamed by the greek hero, Bellerophon. Pegasus helped him fight against the Chimera and the Amazons. When he was done fighting, Bellerophon rode him back to Olympus, but was dismounted by Zeus at the gate. Pegasus continued and made it to Olympus.
